Process

We start this process by scheduling a site visit discussing your project needs. This includes what works and does not in your current space, the style of design you aspire to obtain, and working together to determine the total scope. After our initial discussion and evaluation, we then put talk-to-paper where we begin the creation of a comprehensive detailed design. These include CAD 2d floorplans, elevations, material inspiration, and initial budget planning.

The Design Development phase is a continuation of the design process, moving it closer to the start of construction. We start providing detailed 2D elevations of our schematic designs, including tile layouts, custom millwork built-ins and updating any changes to the floorplans. During this phase, we are specifying material finishes and fixtures, including lighting, plumbing, wall tile and finishes, flooring, and countertops.

Design is a form of communication. We take lead in communicating our design intent to final product. It takes a team of communicators to translate our vision to physical form. This includes strong communication with your builder, tile installers, cabinet vendors, ect. With a detailed set of plans finalized during Design Development, we oversee final product with excessive precision.
